The BNC series is a backward curved plenum fan.

The full range of BNC series is AMCA certified to Air, Sound and FEG.

Plenum fans are designed for air handling application where the fan wheel operates without a housing. It operates inside a plenum. This results in saving of space normally occupied by the fan housing, transition and diffusers. The fan wheel pressurizes the entire plenum in which the fan is installed. The allows air ducts to be directly connected from any direction of the plenum. The compact size of the plenum fan makes it an excellent selection for retrofit and replacement application and for variable air volume systems.

There are three types of the BNC series, i.e. BNC-R (regular type), BNC-P (high pressure type), and BNC-Q (high volume ratio type).

The operating limit of BNC series is set according to the requirement of Class 1, 11 and 111 limit as defined in AMCA standard 99-16. The BNC series is available in Direct Driven and Belt Driven.

 Quick Facts

•  Size from 315 to 1800

•  Capacity up to 400,000 m3/h

•  Total pressure up to 5800 Pa

•  Suitable to use in AHU and clean room

Inlet Guard

This may be required in some industrial and safety regulations. These are available upon request.

Wheel

The wheel of BNC series have backward curved blades manufactured in mild steel with polyester powder coating finish.

Shaft

Shafts are manufactured from C45 carbon steel. All dimensional tolerances of the shaft are fully checked to ensure precision fit. All shafts are coated with an anti-corrosion varnish after assembly.

Bearings

Bearings used are either deep groove ball bearing type with an adaptor sleeve or spherical roller bearings type sealed at both sides for different duty application.

Balancing Quality

•  All wheels are statically and dynamically balanced to ISO 1940 and AMCA 204-G2.5 standard.

•  All fans after assembly are trim balanced to ISO 1940 and AMCA 204-G2.5 standard.

•  Standard lower than G2.5 is available upon request.
